baldur's gate 3

About a week since its 24th hotfix for Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios has released its 25th, tackling persisting issues preventing players from taking Short Rests. Us, an Intellect Devourer that players can have as a follower, is again the cause. This time, the issue occurred due to it not leaving the party after the tutorial.

It’s been fixed, along with other occasions where Us shouldn’t be with the party. Various crashes have also been fixed, including rare code crashes in Act 1 and when hovering over enemies. A crash that could occur when loading a save game where the player is in the middle of trading has also been fixed. Check out the full hotfix notes below for other changes.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Despite Larian not wanting to make DLC or a sequel, instead opting to develop something new, it’s still working on features like cross-platform play, mod support (which is also coming to consoles) and more. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.
