Larian Studios released a new trailer for Baldur’s Gate 3, focusing on the third antagonist of the story – Orin the Red. Described as a “grandmaster” of murder (if murder were an art), Orin is a shapeshifter and can transform into anyone. She may even be among your party.
Maggie Robertson, known for her role as Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village, plays Orin and describes the character as “affectionately unhinged.” She’s also very attached to her swords. While she’s working with General Ketheric Thorm and Lord Enver Gortash (J.K. Simmons and Jason Isaacs, respectively), Orin isn’t above killing them for kicks.
The grand plot of this trinity of villains is yet to be revealed, but it can’t mean anything good for the titular city. Baldur’s Gate 3 is out on August 3rd for PC and September 6th for PS5, with Deluxe Edition owners on console getting 72 hours of early access. Head here for more details on the eagerly-awaited RPG.
