PlayStation has revealed that Baldur’s Gate 3 was the Player’s Choice game on PlayStation in September. The game, released on the PS5 in early September, competed against quite a few other titles for the honour, including heavy hitters like EA Sports FC 24, and Mortal Kombat 1.

As part of a monthly poll to pick out their favourite games released in any given month, this September, PS5 players seem to have voted for Baldur’s Gate 3. According to the PlayStation Blog, the criteria for voting is essentially letting players pick one game released in a particular month that they would recommend to a friend.

Alongside being picked as the Player’s Choice title for September, Baldur’s Gate 3 also turned out to rank second in the PlayStation Store’s top PS5 downloads for the month. While annual sports title NBA 2K24 dominated the ranking, Baldur’s Gate 3 came in second.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has seen quite a few updates as developer Larian continues to support the game through the constant release of new updates. For more details about the PS5 release of the game, check out our Baldur’s Gate 3 PS5 review.
