Sony has revealed its top download charts for the PlayStation Store in September 2023, including paid and free-to-play games on its platforms. Though NBA 2K24 dominated the charts for PS4 and PS5 in North America and Europe, Baldur’s Gate 3 surprisingly ranked second for PS5 in both regions.
Larian Studios hasn’t revealed sales numbers for the title on either PS5 or PC, though it confirmed over 2.5 million copies sold during its early access period. The role-playing game has received extensive critical acclaim and became the second biggest launch on Steam for the entire year, falling just short of Hogwarts Legacy.

Local split-screen won’t be available on Xbox Series S, but it may arrive sometime after launch. Larian is also working on adding cross-platform multiplayer and a Photo Mode. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
