DON’T NOD has delivered a couple of diamond in the rough action-adventure titles in the past, and with upcoming action RPG Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, the developer is looking to continue expanding its talents outside of the narrative adventure genre. At The Game Awards, we got another look at the game with a new story trailer.
Banishers tells the story of Red and Antea, two ghost hunters in love who are sworn to protect the world of the living from the dead, but when Antea dies and returns as a spirit, they find themselves facing the toughest questions of their lives. Will Red let Antea pass on in piece, or will he try to bring her back to life, which will mean violating the oath he is sworn to uphold in every way possible? Check out the trailer below for a glimpse at what the game will have in store.
