Battlefield 1 Russian Army Details To Be Shared At E3 Next Month

Plus, a Summer release window shared as well.

Battlefield 1, when it launched last year, only had the British and American armies as playable- which was a total and complete bummer, since the Russians and French were equally important to the Allies’ efforts during the First World War, if not more so. The French were ultimately added in the Battlefield expansion They Shall Not Pass. Now the Russians will be added too, in In The Tsar’s Name. And we will be learning more about that at E3 next month.

“On June 10, EA PLAY 2017 will connect fans around the world to EA’s biggest new games – and Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar will be at the event,” EA said when discussing their plans for EA Play next month. “Whether in person or online, you’ll get the first taste of the second Battlefield 1 expansion – which will be releasing in late summer. (Oh, and that is “late summer” for Stockholm and L.A., where our development teams are based.)”

Battlefield 1 is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
