Battlefield 2042

DICE has released a new gameplay trailer for Battlefield 2042, focusing on the upcoming fourth season of the game. The fourth season, titled Season 4: Eleventh Hour, will include a host of new content, including a new map, vehicles and weapons.

The new map, dubbed Flashpoint, is slated to be an arid, rocky South African battlefield. According to the trailer’s description, the map will focus on close-quarters combat. The season will also bring a new playable character—recon specialist Camila Blasco.

As is usual for video game seasons these days, Season 4: Eleventh Hour will also feature a 100-tier battle pass that will include content that is both free as well as premium, the latter of which will require players to pay for the battle pass.

Battlefield 2042 is slated to kick off Season 4: Eleventh Hour on February 28.

In its last major update, Battlefield 2042 got its much-awaited rework of the Specialists system, making it more akin to the traditional class system that the franchise is known for.
