BF4 2
DICE has always been about friendly competition – and by that we mean that they take any and every opportunity to trounce their competitor, Call of Duty. The same rings true for Call of Duty: Ghosts.

During a Battlefield 4 live stream discussion thread on Reddit, a producer working on the game jokingly confessed to everyone that, “Sorry guys, we cut fish AI to make way for collapsing skyscrapers and other large-scale destruction. Hope that’s OK.”

For those unaware, when Infinity Ward first introduced Call of Duty: Ghosts at Microsoft’s Xbox Reveal event in May, it stated that the next generation technology of the Xbox One allowed them to do new things, including having the fish swim away from the player. Because ground-breaking AI and whatnot.

The last time we remember DICE poking fun at COD was with Battlefield: Bad Company 2, in which the main characters joked about the ridiculousness and utter stupidity of snowmobiles and heart-beat sensors (seen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2).
