Battlefield 4: Five Digital Packs, BF4 Premium, Battlepacks and Open Beta Announced

It wouldn’t be an EA conference without DICE’s Battlefield 4. Today, EA announced that Battlefield 4 Premium would be heading to the game, with Premium members able to avail of five DLC packs. This includes China Rising, Second Assault, Naval Strike, Dragon’s Teeth and Final Stand, with two weeks early access to each. You’ll also get your weekly dose of content and personalization options. and will also be granted two-weeks early access* to each.

And did we mention priority in server queues? Battlefield 4 Premium can also be transferred from Xbox 360 to Xbox One and PS3 to PS4. Check out the trailer for the same below.

Executive producer Patrick Bach stated that, “Fan reaction to Battlefield 3 Premium has been nothing short of amazing. We are humbled to see more than 4 million people join in. With Battlefield 4 Premium we continue to roll out the red carpet, treating our fans like VIPs with a massive amount of new gameplay, exclusive new content and even more benefits at an incredible value.”

Battlefield 4 will also have Battlepacks – packs with random combinations camos, dog tags, knives, XP boosts, gun attachments and more. Premium members will of course avail of 12 bonus packs.

If that weren’t all, the multiplayer beta starts in early October, with Battlefield 3 Premium players getting exclusive access. An open beta will follow shortly for Siege of Shanghai on Conquest. Check out the Paracel Storm multiplayer trailer below.

Battlefield 4 releases on October 29th for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC with Xbox One and PS4 releases to be dated soon.
