Love it or hate it, Battlefield 4 was full of issues even several months after its release. Sure, it looks nice, but when I can survive an AP Tank shell going off in my face by standing behind a corpse, the game’s got a few issues. Luckily, there’s another big patch looming on the horizon.
The High Frequency Update option is being made mandatory via the patch. Reviving is also being tweaked/overhauled. Thanks to a handy gauge showing how long someone has left to live before they die when downed, you can prioritise your revivals. This is actually a game changer because it’s a small tweak that makes a big difference in team games.
Visual recoil is being fixed, and the hitbox for player animation, which introduced evasive measures, is being tweaked significantly. There’s going to be broad weapon nerfs and this is especially going to effect grenade use and replenishment. This is on top of net code improvements and other bug fixes. Stay tuned for more information on the update when it arrives later this month.
