Battlefield 4 has introduced a new Squad Join function for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the game. It is currently in beta phase and allows you to join together with four friends. You’ll stay together through multiple rounds and it will be available on maps in Conquest, Team Deathmatch, Obliteration, Rush and Domination. The feature will launch when Dragon’s Teeth releases this Summer and you can check out a video for the same above.

DICE spoke about the same on the Battlefield blog. “Connecting and playing with your friends has always been a central aspect of the Battlefield multiplayer experience. This is something we know our fans have been asking for – and something we wish we could have provided at launch – so we are now happy to present the first iteration of Squad Join.”

Currently, there are two more DLC expansions for Battlefield 4 – Dragon’s Teeth and Final Stand. It’s also rumoured that a new Battlefield, courtesy of Visceral Games, will be revealed at E3 2014. Stay tuned for more.
