Battlefield 4 has just released in North America for current-gen consoles, namely PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and will be coming out in November 1st in Europe. DICE is already on the spot with a multiplayer update which has been released on Xbox Live. The update, “Multiplayer Update 1”, is 119.21 MB in size.

The official description for the same says, “This Battlefield 4 update contains improvements to the multiplayer portions of the game. We strongly advise you download it.”

With multiplayer games, launches are especially difficult, as evidenced by the launch of GTA Online, so we don’t blame DICE for bringing out an update so quickly. Don’t even expect this to be the last one, since the next-generation console releases are still to come.

Battlefield 4 releases for PlayStation 4 on November 15th/29th in North America/Europe and will also be available for Xbox One on November 22nd. Stay tuned for more information as the release draws near.
