EA really wants you to play Battlefield 4 and is offering the PC version for free on Origin courtesy its Game Time program. You’ll be able to download the game into your game library and play it for a week (168 hours). You’ll have access to not only the single-player campaign but multiplayer as well, including 64 player matches and other game modes.

The good news is you have until August 14th to add it to your game library and the one week timer will only start once you begin playing the game. Keep in mind that it’s running in real time, so if you’re not playing, the timer will still be running. Thankfully, Origin Achievements will be carried over if you decide to buy the game once the free period ends.

Battlefield 4 was the subject of much controversy when it first came out due to numerous bugs and glitches but it’s improved since then significantly. Will you be trying it out? Let us know in the comments.
