If you thought Grand Theft Auto V stretched your hard disk space requirements, then you ain’t seen nothing yet. DICE has revealed that the upcoming Battlefield 4 will have a mandatory 2 GB install on the Xbox 360. However, the game will also feature over 12 GB of additional installations. Though these are optional, DICE recommends installing them.
Posting on the EA Blog, DICE stated that the first disc will have 6.6 GB of optional content and features the multiplayer, with the second campaign disc containing 5.8 GB of content. Though these can be run off the disc, DICE stated that, “We highly recommend performing these additional installations to make sure you have the best experience possible in Battlefield 4.”
Battlefield 4 will be releasing on October 29th in North America and November 1st in Europe for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, with the PS4 version releasing on November 15th in North America and November 29th in Europe and the Xbox One version out on November 22nd.
