Fortifications Viability
One of the biggest new additions to Battlefield 5’s gameplay is the ability to build Fortifications. The concept itself is pretty neat but at this stage, it’s not exactly at its most optimum. Not only do you have to stay in one spot to build a fortification, potentially exposing yourself to fire, but the overall building of fortifications feels clunky. As the beta showcased, positioning and nearby fortification spots present severe issues when building. DICE will likely address these issues sometime by launch. Hopefully.
