Electronic Arts showcased Battlefield V at this year’s Gamescom with a brand new trailer, and the game was also playable at the event. Some fans were able to try the game out at the event and they noticed a number of interesting changes in the game including how the medic works, and also changes to the minimap, and the squads menu (via MP1st).

It looks like the medic in Battlefield V will be quite well-rounded, and will be able to play multiple roles without being tied down to the role of just a healer. A user on Reddit posted that the medic in this game will be able to equip two items, along with a syringe, which means the medic can also carry a weapon to be useful in combat. Another user posted about the redesigned minimap and squads menu, with the squads menu now displaying a circular health bar for your teammates. This will surely make it easier to be aware of what’s going on with your team during a match.

Battlefield V is set to release for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 19.
