A new entry into the Battlefield series is set to release at some point in this year, and we have already been able to learn a lot about the game thanks to some leaked information. We had recently learnt that the game will be titled Battlefield V and that it will feature a World War 2 setting. Now, some new information has been leaked which reveals information about the co-op and campaign components of the game.
Quite a lot of new information was leaked by a user on the Discord community channel for the YouTube channel Drakesden. Additionally, VentureBeat confirmed that some of this information is accurate while some information is misleading. First of all, the leak had claimed that the game’s campaign would focus solely on the German side of the story, but this doesn’t seem to be the case according to VentureBeat. Just like with the previous game, the campaign will be broken into different chapters with each of them showing a different side of the story.
As for co-op, the game will feature randomly generated Conquest missions, but there may be plans to expand on this even more. Battlefield V is set to release this year, likely on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Are you excited for the new Battlefield game? Let us know in the comments.
