Battlefield 5 saw the series return to its World War II roots to some mixed reception. While the game’s gunplay and overall gameplay was about as good as its ever been, the game was starved for content. You can check out our review through here. Since then, EA and DICE have done a lot to bolster the amount of content the game has, and the scope of that is continuing as the combat will move to another theater of the war.

We’ve known for awhile now that the game was planning to move to pacific battles, we just didn’t know when. On the official Twitter, which you can see below, we see a very brief teaser promising the war in the pacific is coming, with the full trailer coming a few days later. What will come with the update isn’t known at this time, but at the very least, some new locations should be opening up.

Battlefield 5 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The full reveal trailer for the Pacific content will come October 23rd.
