Battlefield 5’s Challenges for Tides of War and New Weapons Have Been Datamined

We get an earlier than intended look at the challenges and weapons.

Yesterday we got a look at the upcoming Elite soldiers coming to Battlefield V, from renders to full profiles, thanks to some datamining fans. Now, it looks like they found some more and have given us a sooner than expected peek at challenges and some new weapons that’s coming to the game.

You can take a look at the post at the game’s Reddit page here to see that they have found the challenges for Tides of War: Chapter 3, from Week 6 to 12, as well as new weapons that are supposedly being added to the game soon, including details and renders. Many of the challenges include using teamwork (the staple of the Battlefield series) like resupplying and reviving your squad mates, and killing a set amount of enemies with certain weapons or in certain modes, like Combined Arms.

The new weapons in question are the P08 Pistol Carbine – a long barrel, shoulder stock carbine pistol – and the submachine gun Beretta M38. Some of the challenges across the week are pretty ordinary in nature – kill a certain number of enemies in Combined arms, or or complete a certain number of missions in the same mode – while some others present more interesting tasks, like dealing a certain amount of damage with the new carbine pistol, the P08 Pistol Carbine, in multiplayer, or disabling the engines of enemy tanks a certain number of times.

Battlefield 5 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and these new updates come after multiple fixes and updates the game has received, which of course includes the new Battle Royale mode, Firestorm.
