Battlefield: Hardline Gameplay Footage Now Available in 60 FPS

Also, explosions.

YouTube has announced that it is now streaming videos in 60 FPS, a significant upgrade over the usual 24 FPS trailers that are usually seen online. One of the first few trailer to be uploaded was by Visceral Games as it showcased 60 FPS footage of Battlefield: Hardline. Check it out above.

It’s hard to argue against the benefits of adding support for 60 FPS – the difference in motion is significant and should help consumers understand just what kind of game they’re going to get (with the right hardware of course). You also get to see all the explosions at a sweet 60 frames per second. We do like explosions.

Battlefield: Hardline will be releasing on October 21st for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. Another multiplayer beta will be releasing for all platforms in the Fall before the game’s worldwide release. What are your thoughts on the game thus far? Let us know in the comments.
