Visceral Games finally showed off Battlefield: Hardline to the public on its own terms and what better way to do that than to showcase cops versus crooks in the game’s new Heist mode? Despite the annoying COPS-like transitions, we got to glean a fair amount of information from the trailer.

The Heist mode will see the criminals needing to complete a specific objective while the cops stop them. This includes stealing from an armoured truck and the weaponry you’ll be able to use is impressive enough. From turrents to baseball bats and sawed off shotguns, the police are in for a real fight in multiplayer. You can also jump off of and parachute from a building if things get hairy though this is no guarantee for a safe escape.

EA has also announced that the beta for PC and PS4 of Battlefield: Hardline is currently live, along with the game being 1080p and 60 FPS on the PS4. Thoughts? Let us know below.
