Battlefield Hardline

After a series of leaks yesterday from Battlelog and an event held for Battlefield community members, EA has now officially confirmed Battlefield: Hardline. An official website for the game is now live and says that the game will unveiled on June 9th at 12:00 PM PDT. This is the date for EA’s E3 media brieifing.

Thus far, we know that Battlefield: Hardline will be developed by Visceral Games of Dead Space fame (and which is also working on a Star Wars title with Uncharted writer Amy Hennig). The game will center around SWAT teams and feature multiplayer modes like Turf War, Heist and Blood Money. You can check out the weapons and other items leaked in images here.

Like its immediate competitor Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Battlefield: Hardline will be releasing on both the previous generation of consoles (Xbox 360 and PS3) as well as the current generation (Xbox One and PS4) along with PC. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know in the comments.
