EA has dated Visceral Games’ Battlefield: Hardline and released a new trailer for the game showcasing the destructibility in the game. It will be out on October 21st for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.
Battlefield: Hardline branches off from the military-oriented approach of previous entries and takes a cops vs. crooks approach. You’ll be playing as either SWAT team members of hardened criminals in multiplayer, as you either rob banks or protect them, choosing to take hostages or rescue them as the situation may dictate.
The single-player campaign will see you take on the role of detective Nick Mendoza as he hunts down his ex-partner following a ton of missing cash from a past drug deal.
Battlefield: Hardline was blown wide open when data miners found icons, images and much more after a Battlelog update. This was followed by leaked gameplay footage, which EA was quick to clarify as being 6 months old. We expect great things at E3 – will Visceral deliver? Stay tuned for more information.
