While surviving both the Circle of Death and the hundred-odd other players is your top objective in Battlefield: REDSEC, there are also a number of side activities you can perform in order to further that primary goal. These Missions and their Counter Missions can earn you various bonuses that can come in very handy as you vie for the spot of last man or squad standing.
This guide is about all of the Missions you can undertake in Battlefield: REDSEC and what they involve doing.
Evasion
Simply locate multiple enemy surveillance devices and destroy them by any means available in order to complete this mission.
Extraction
This two-part Mission requires you to encrypt a drive first, and then deliver it to a drone for exfiltration. The drone itself is vulnerable to being shot down by hostile players that notice it.
Decryption
A somewhat nail-biting Mission considering the fast pace of battle royales, Decryption has you take possession of two laptop-like beacons in order to decrypt them on the move, with the catch being that running obstructs progress. You will have to either measure your pace, or shelter in place in order to complete the decryption process and claim your rewards.
Interception
This counterpart mission to Decryption tasks you with tracking down and eliminating the squad that is engaged in a Decryption mission themselves, and then laying claim to their package.
Signal Hack
The objective of this Mission is to bring two designated antennas into alignment so that you can hack the signal. After receiving their coordinates, head to the location to interact with them. You will be vulnerable to attack as you maneuver them around into position, so this is ideally done with proper team coordination. Hold your ground for 30 odd seconds to complete.
Weapons Cache
The most hotly contested of all Missions, since it gives whomever comes out on top a significant weaponry advantage for the rest of the session. The location of a pair of bolt cutters will be provided to you, and once you have collected them, so will the location of the cache itself. Once cracked open, the cache holds enough high-tier gear to go around for the entire squad.
Wreckage
A three-part Mission involving retrieving and planting a bomb at a designated location. The bomb itself will have to be defended until detonation, in order to prevent potential interference from other players striving to defuse it.
