BattleTech’s Latest Trailer Explores The Mercenary’s Life

Learn how to take on missions, upgrade your mechs and effectively manage resources.

Harebrained Schemes’ BattleTech, a turn-based strategy game based on the FASA property of the same name, is quickly coming together. After being delayed, it will launch in April and let players roam the galaxy, looking for Houses to fight for in their giant mechs. To learn more about said mechs and how to upgrade one’s crew, a new trailer has been released.

If you’re interested in operating and staying afloat, then aspects like refueling, repairs and so on must be taken into account. It’s also worth defeating foes and keeping them in one piece since their mechs can be salvaged and sold off. BattleTech lets you take on whatever mission you feel like, furthering your own agenda, which is a nice degree of freedom to have.

With BattleTech creator Jordan Weisman at the helm, it should be interesting to see how the game turns out. It will release on PC next month and is currently available to pre-order today on Steam.
