It’s hard to believe, but roughly a decade ago, PlatinumGames was formed. The company came together primarily from several high profile employees leaving Capcom (from a production studio called Clover). PlatinumGames has continued on as one of the busiest work for hire studios out there. But soon, we can revisit two of the company’s initial wave of titles, and today we got a look at the physical double-pack release.
Bayonetta and Vanquish were recent confirmed to get remasters in February. While you will be able to buy both games digitally separately, you can get both together physically as well, with a special steelbook. Today, Sega released a video that shows the process of mixing the two franchises together in the fantastic artwork shown on the steelbook. Check it out below.
Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle will release for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 18th. The third entry in the Bayonetta series is being developed for the Switch right now, while Vanquish never received a sequel, since the initial release was considered a commercial flop.
