Bayonetta 3 Development Is “Going Very Well” – Hideki Kamiya

We'll have to take his word for it.

Since it was announced at The Game Awards in 2017, Bayonetta 3 has received very little updates. We’ve seen nothing of the action title, and more often than not updates amount to PlatinumGames giving repeated assurances that development on the project is progressing well. And, well, that’s what we here yet again.

Platinum’s Hideki Kamiya, who’s serving as producer on Bayonetta 3, recently took to Twitter to respond to a question about whether there will be any update on the game’s development soon. “Development’s going really well,” Kamiya responded. “There you go.”

That’s not really much as updates go, but given how tight-lipped Platinum have been about anything to do with Bayonetta 3, we’ll take it. The hope, of course, remains that Nintendo will be ready to show a new trailer (at least) sooner rather than later.

Bayonetta 3 is without a release date (or even a window), but is confirmed as a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
