Bethesda Offering Loyalty Rewards for The Elder Scrolls Online Subscribers

That's really nice of them. Seriously.

The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online was a pretty darn good MMORPG that Bethesda released earlier this year. Albeit it was a subscription MMORPG in a world that has largely moved on from those, preferring free to play subsidized models (seriously, the only subscription MMORPGs that have found any success in the market are World of Warcraft and the ever excellent Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn).

Bethesda and Zenimax Online probably realize that themselves, because they are now offering ‘loyalty rewards’ to everyone who is subscribed to the game. As long as you have three months of cumulative subscription period (not counting the free thirty days that came with the game), you will be eligible for these rewards, the first of which is a vanity pet – a High Hrothgrar wraith.

Bethesda says it will work on expanding the scope of these rewards, so that’s good. It’s especially nice to see them acknowledging that people who are subscribing to an MMO in the modern market deserve to be rewarded.
