Beyond: Two Souls – Behind the Making of the Soundtrack with Zimmer and Balfe

The two legendary composers talk about the music for David Cage's next.

Beyond: Two Souls has been praised for many things – its graphics, the casting of Ellen Paige and Willem Dafoe and the continuation of director David Cage’s story-telling technique in video games. You can now add music to that list of accolades, as a new video for the game features composers Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe talking about how they created the music for the upcoming PS3-exclusive epic.

Developed by Quantic Dream, Beyond: Two Souls follows the journey of Jodie Foster, a strange individual who can seemingly harness the power of a ghost called Aiden for various purposes. Originally working under the government, Jodie eventually escaped to live life on her own terms. Of course, said government wants her back and they’re willing to send the usual soldier fodder necessary to do so.

Beyond: Two Souls releases on October 8th in North America and October 11th in Europe for the PlayStation 3.
