Earlier today Sony have released the launch trailer for the just-released Quantic Dream title, Beyond: Two Souls. The PlayStation 3 exclusive title stars voice actors Willem Dafoe and Ellen Page, and features some of the more advanced motion capture technology featured in video gaming thus far.

The trailer shows us a few of the many scenarios that the protagonist – voiced by Ellen Page – will find herself in over the game’s plot, which follows the character between the ages of 8 and 23.

As with all games from developers Quantic Dream, writer and director David Cage has stated that he takes pride in the fact that his games aren’t just about killing. Beyond: Two Souls attempts to capture the real, and sometimes even mundane, elements of life in a gaming capacity, in order to make the player feel as real a connection as possible to the characters.

Beyond: Two Souls is now available for the PlayStation 3. We have already reviewed the game which you can check here.
