Quantic Dream’s Beyond: Two Souls has been generating a significant amount of buzz, debuting at the Tribeca Film Festival and impressing us more and more with its cinematic feel (with director David Cage announcing that it would last for a good 10 hours or so). So of course it makes sense for a special edition to be in the works, with a number of retailers listing pre-orders for the same online.
The special edition is set to include a steel book with the game, along an additional playable scene that will present 30 minutes of new gameplay. There will also be the usual menagerie of behind the scenes videos, a dynamic theme and avatar pack and the OST for the game.
Those interesting in pre-ordering the special edition for £45 can head over to Amazon, Zavvior and Sainsbury’s with more sure to follow. Beyond: Two Souls is set to release on October 8th for PS3. It will star Hollywood big-shots like Ellen Paige and Willem Dafoe in leading roles.
