Ellen Page, who will be staring as Jodie Holmes in Quantic Dream’s upcoming PS3 exclusive Beyond: Two Souls, recently held an AMA session on Reddit. She expressed her displeasure as to how her likeness was used to create Ellie, the child protagonist of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us.

In the post addressing the same, she stated, “I guess I should be flattered that they ripped off my likeness, but I am actually acting in a video game called Beyond Two Souls, so it was not appreciated.”

However, Naughty Dog revealed that they had in fact toned down the similarities to Ellie and Page by focusing more on making the former look like her voice actress, Ellie Ashley Johnson. This was done “to better reflect Ashley’s personality, and also resemble a slightly younger teen more fitting to the story” according to Neil Druckmann.

What are thoughts? Does Ellie really exude more Ellen Page or is she her own person?
