GENSHIN IMPACT
You’ll often hear people saying that it’s hard to believe Genshin Impact is a free to play title, and you don’t need to spend too long with the game (though you certainly will) to see why. This right here is a beautiful, well-made production that is set in a large world that’s full of life. Exploring these environments is constantly engaging thanks to an abundance of activities to tackle, while the simple act of moving stands out as well, thanks to a traversal system that borrows liberally from Breath of the Wild. There’s been no shortage of games that are built on Breath of the Wild’s ideas these past few years (and there will certainly be many, many more to come), but Genshin Impact is easily one of the most impressive games of that nature that we’ve seen so far.
