BioWare’s new game Anthem will be similar to Destiny with a focus on PvE content. The game itself was revealed only in June of this year, so it’s likely still a long ways off from release. However, the disaster that was Mass Effect: Andromeda has left a bad impression on many gamers’ minds.
Mass Effect: Andromeda did not hade a beta phase, although there was originally plan to have one (the multiplayer tech test). With this in mind, one fan took to Twitter and posted “If this game dont get a beta like ME:A, Imma assume it’s dead in the water.”
Bioware’s Jonathan Warner replied that the game will in fact have a beta release. However, we’ll have to wait a while for more details regarding the same as Warner said to fans that the game is still a long ways off.
It remains to be seen if Anthem can redeem the studio in fans’ eyes. The game is planned to be released in the latter half of 2018.
