Black Myth: Wukong has been one of the biggest releases of the year by far, especially where sales are concerned, and it has, of course, done so without having had a physical launch. That, however, will be changing soon. It was confirmed last month by developer Game Science that the action RPG would be getting a physical release “very soon”, and a concrete date has now been announced for that.

PM Studios, the distributor for the game’s physical release, has confirmed that Black Myth: Wukong’s PS5 version will be available physical on discs starting December 12, a little over a month from now. Pre-orders are live now as well.

Last month also saw Black Myth: Wukong getting rated for Xbox Series X/S by the ESRB, but it remains to be seen whether those on Microsoft’s platform can also expect to be playing the game in the imminent future.

Black Myth: Wukong is currently available on PS5 and PC. An expansion is also currently in development.
