Black Ops 2: Revolution DLC Gameplay Trailer Showcases New Maps, Modes

Back in black, and with a whole lot of crack...for wack...something. Whatever.

For all the crap I give Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, admittedly, the multiplayer component and extra modes have been more than decent. Activision is looking to expand on these further with the new Revolution DLC Map Pack, which not only adds four new multiplayer maps but a new Zombies game mode.

The four maps include Mirage, Grind, Downhill and Hydro, with a new Zombies co-op map set in a destroyed high-rise titled Die Rise. Even more interesting is the new Zombies game mode called Turned. That’s right – you can finally play as the Infected as you attempt to kill those pesky humans and end their headshotting ways.

A bonus multiplayer weapon, the Peacekeeper SMG, is also being offered though we can’t see any distinct advantages it brings. More bullets maybe? That helps in Borderlands 2.

The Revolution DLC Map Pack will be hitting Xbox Live first (stay unbiased, guys) on January 29th, with other platform releases to follow.
