Bloodborne TGA 2014 Trailer Demonstrates Offensive Mechanics, Tons of Blood

The best defense is a good offense in From Software's latest.

From Software’s Bloodborne received a brand new gameplay trailer at The Game Awards 2014 which showcased the game’s combat. Check it out above.

The trailer reveals, among many other things, the new offensive-minded style of the game. You’ll tackle different kinds of beasts while trudging through some dark, dank dungeons and use weapons like shotguns and flamethrowers. Your trusty cleaver will act as a longsword when the going gets tough but you’ll also be able to team up with two other players for the tougher fights.

On that note, the trailer ends with one of the tougher fights in the game against what seems to be a werewolf-esque creature that can move as fast as you (and hit twice as hard).

Bloodborne will be out exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on March 24th in North America and March 25th in Europe. What are your thoughts on the game thus far? Let us know in the comments below.
