Bloodstained Ritual of the Night

ArtPlay’s Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night finally received its second playable character Zangetsu earlier this month. However, this – along with the Randomizer Mode – were released for Xbox One, PS4 and PC first with the Switch release being delayed. Fortunately, Switch owners won’t have to wait long as the update is now live.

To play as Zangetsu, you need to beat the game once as Miriam and get the Good ending. Zangetsu (voiced by David Hayter of Metal Gear Solid fame) has a far different playstyle, primarily utilizing his sword and special magic abilities. You won’t get any story cutscenes, quests, equipment, consumables, crafting or equipment while playing through the story as him either.

As for the Randomizer, it allows players to heavily modify certain elements of the play experience for different playthroughs. You can have it so that key items spawn in random locations, Save and Warp rooms are shuffled around, and enemies can drop any kind of Shard. For more details, check here.
