Borderlands 3 - Amara (2)

Along with releasing the patch notes for the recent Bloody Harvest event, Gearbox Software offered details on what’s coming up for Borderlands 3. The improvements to performance and stability are set for a November patch. That won’t be the end though as these will “continue to be an ongoing effort with more fixes rolled out with each upcoming patch.”

As for Bank storage, players can look forward to it being more than double with the upcoming Maliwan Takedown. The Bank will continue to be expanded in future releases as well. Dedicated loot pools for bosses are being worked on as the development decides “which bosses get which gear right now” but expect that for the November patch as well.

Additional, a new Mayhem Mode level, Mayhem 4, will be added with Maliwan Takedown. Even tougher enemies will be on offer for those with “highly synergized character builds” but you can expect some new Legendary gear as a reward. Interestingly, Gearbox is also looking to add new Mayhem Modifiers, new rewards and Mayhem playlists in the coming days along with an overhaul of the mode (dubbed Mayhem 2.0).

Of course, if you’re fed up with replaying the story and having to rewatch each cinematic, an option to skip the same is coming soon. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
