The big gameplay reveal for Borderlands 3 will be tomorrow, May 1st, and one of the most interesting things Gearbox have announces is that it will be followed by “hundreds of streamers” who will be giving their playing the game and giving their impressions in real time. It seems Gearbox and 2K Games are going to take that even further, though, with the new ECHOcast Twitch Extension that will debut alongside the event.

As you watch your favorite streamers, you no longer have to request they stop to show off their loots and abilities. With ECHOcast you can actually look at their weapons, abilities, and other loot in real time as they play. The extension will allow you full access to check out their inventory without them having to stop what they’re doing. Along with that, contests will also run where you can link Twitch with your SHiFT account (read more about that here) and play along to potentially win loot in Borderlands 3. Claptrap can give you all the details in the announcement video below.

Borderlands 3 will release on September 13th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (as a timed Epic Games Store exclusive).
