Gearbox Software’s first big paid DLC for Borderlands 3 is going live later this month with Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot. Taking place in Handsome Jack’s lavish (and dangerous) casino, 2K Games has released a video showcasing the first 13 minutes of the DLC. Check it out below.
Long story short, you’ve been hired by Mad Moxxi to infiltrate the Handsome Jackpot to find the vault and loot the goods. Along with slot machines and glitz, not to mention Jack’s appearances, there are Hyperion Loader Bots, lunatics and crazy Claptraps to fight. You can expect secrets, side missions and new Crew challenges in addition to new story missions.
There will also be new bosses to battle, new Legendary weapons and items to earn, and more customization items for one’s Vault Hunter. That includes new ECHO Device skins, emotes, weapon trinkets and more. The DLC is tuned for players who are level 13 but will scale to one’s level. Prepare accordingly – Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot is out on December 19th.
