After an abundance of teasing over recent months, at Gamescom in August, Gearbox Entertainment and 2K finally unveiled Borderlands 4, and though they didn’t share too many details on the game other than premiering a cinematic announcement teaser, Gearbox has now offered another glimpse at what the upcoming sequel will have in store.

At PAX West, the developer showcased new concept art for Borderlands 4, which it has now also shared on the series’ official website. Of course, that still doesn’t give us our first proper look at the actual game itself, though it does give us an idea of what to expect from the its world, including a couple of rather unique looking settlements and cityscapes. Check out the concept art below.

Borderlands 4 is set to launch at some point in 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A specific release date hasn’t yet been confirmed. Stay tuned for more details on the game in the weeks and months ahead.
