Rafa is the next Vault Hunter from Borderlands 4 to get the spotlight, with Gearbox Entertainment outlining his Action Skills and origins. In a new video, it delves into his overall design and cocky attitude.

Previous titles have had Vault Hunters like Axton, Roland, and Moze as Soldiers, and Rafa is somewhat in the same vein. As an ex-Tediore operative, he jumps into the fight, specializing in explosions and loud theatrics when he’s not getting close with his Arc Knives to deal serious damage.

Design-wise, associated art director Max Davenport describes Raga as “hexagonal” (Vex is more “triangular”). Despite an otherwise understated casual look, his colors vary between loud and sleek, especially during the action.

Borderlands 4 launches on September 12th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, and October 3rd for Nintendo Switch 2 (check out the latest gameplay here). Amon and Harlowe are the next Vault Hunters to receive the spotlight, so stay tuned for more details on their abilities and origins.
