Destiny Rise of Iron

Update: Servers are currently live. Now back to grinding.

Original Story:

Following the release of Rise of Iron for Destiny, Bungie’s servers immediately nose-dived. Players have faced issues logging in with several receiving the error code “Tapir”. Bungie quickly implemented a queue for players and has offered on its site.

“We are actively investigating issues impacting players’ ability to sign in to Destiny on all platforms. Until resolved, players may experience disconnects or be unable to sign in.”

Unfortunately, this doesn’t indicate when you can expect to play Rise of Iron. Until then, simply sit in the queue and wait for Bungie to perform some kind of miracle.

Destiny’s Rise of Iron is out now for Xbox One and PS4. It offers new gear, new story missions, new quests, a new zone in the Plaguelands and a new raid called Wrath of the Machine which goes live on September 23rd. What is your current queue number for the game? Let us know in the comments.
