Bungie’s Destiny Features Cameo by Master Chief (Sort of)

It's all about perspective really.

Bungie is a funny little company. It practically littered several of its older games like Halo 3: ODST with references to its recently released Destiny. This easter eggs persisted for quite some time and now, Bungie seems to be doing the same with Destiny, namely referencing another project.

Only this time, it’s referencing Master Chief, the protagonist of the Halo franchise which Bungie created and worked on for 10 years when with Microsoft. Of course, it’s not an out-and-out cameo by the Spartan – in fact, you’ll only recognize it if you pay close attention (like the Reddit user who discovered it did). Check it out above.

Whether you accept it or not, there’s no denying the strong resemblance to a certain space super soldier that we all know and love. Who knows how many other easter eggs exist (or will exist) in Destiny over the coming months? Stay tuned to find out.
