Call of Duty 2017 World War 2 Announcement Coming This Weekend – Rumour

Get hyped (but with a grain of salt).

It’s that time of the year again where rumours swirl about when the next Call of Duty will be revealed. After artwork and other material leaked for Call of Duty: WWII, it seems that Activision could be officially announcing it this weekend.

As per NeoGAF, IGN teased that some news would be breaking over the weekend and covered next week. Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, who’s been pretty spot-on for leaks on other Activision titles like Destiny, said, “What annualized military shooter series always gets announced during the first or second weekend of the NBA playoffs?”

Then over on Twitter, Schreier added that, “Well I’d venture it starts with a ‘C’ and ends with an ‘all of Duty: WWII’.”

You should take all of this with a grain of salt as usual. Even with Schreier’s track record, there is the odd thing that he got wrong in the past. Regardless, what do you hope to see if Call of Duty: WWII is indeed showcased? Let us know in the comments.
