After releasing for PlayStation 4 earlier this month, Treyarch’s first DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, namely Awakening, will be releasing on March 3rd for Xbox One. The news was revealed by Microsoft on the Xbox store today.
Awakening includes four new multiplayer maps – Skyjacked (a remake of the Black Ops 2 map Hijacked, Splash, Rise and Gauntlet) – and chapter one of the new Zombies campaign called Der Eisendrache which continues the story of The Giant.
For now we’re not sure if the Awakening DLC will be releasing for PC on the same day. At this point, it doesn’t seem like it wouldn’t. The Awakening DLC released on PlayStation 4 first due to a timed exclusivity agreement that Activision has with Sony. Earlier, this agreement existed between Microsoft and Activision for the former’s consoles.
