Call of Duty Black Ops 3

Treyarch’s first DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, namely Awakening, is now available for PlayStation 4.

The DLC pack includes four new maps – Splash, Gauntlet, Rise and Skyjacked (a reimagined version of Hijacked from Black Ops 2). It also includes the first episode of a new Zombies campaign “Der Eisendrache” which continues the story in The Giant.

The Awakening DLC is currently only available on PlayStation 4 due to a timed exclusivity agreement on DLC between Sony and Activision. It retails for $15 on its own and is included with the game’s Season Pass for $50. Look forward to its release on Xbox One and PC within the next month or so.

Note that the Awakening DLC – and other future map packs – won’t be arriving on Xbox 360 or PS3. Sorry previous gen console owners but that’s just how it is.
