Call of Duty Black Ops 3 DLC No Longer Sold Individually on Steam

Season Pass required for buying map packs.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Descent

Looking to try out individual DLC packs for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on Steam? You no longer have that choice.

With the recent Descent DLC launching on Steam, the Steam listing underwent an odd change over the past few days. Take a gander at the small text just underneath the system requirements and it states, “Individual DLC map packs can no longer be purchased separately on PC. You must purchase Season Pass in order to obtain DLC map packs.”

It’s especially bad if you’ve been purchasing each DLC pack separately and trying each as you go along. Perhaps Treyarch and Activision are doing their best to eke out every last sale for Black Ops 3‘s Season Pass, what with one more DLC pack to go and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare releasing in less than three months.

What are your thoughts on this change? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
