Call of Duty Black Ops 3

A few moments ago German website Gameswelt published a preview on Call of Duty Black Ops 3. During their preview, they were able to ask Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia about the resolution and frame rate that Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will run on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Lamia confirmed that the game on the PS4 is running at 1080p and on the Xbox One, it’s still undecided. However the target for both of them is to reach 60 frames per second. He also clarified that the final values are far from fix but did emphasized that frame rate takes a higher priority.

It seems that Call of Duty Black Ops 3 might employ a dynamic 1080p resolution on the Xbox One, just like what was done in the case of Advanced Warfare. But let us just hope that they reach a native 1080p on the Xbox One this time around.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 launches November 6th on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
